PIDDLIN ACRES W ROSEMARY

PIDDLIN ACRES W ROSEMARY (Sugar Creek NT Sil's Winston*S*B x Piddlin Acres Paprika)--DOB: 2/07--Rosemary is maturing into a wide and powerful doe, with exceptional body capacity. She shows nice dairy character too, with tons of loose, soft skin, flat ribbing, and smooth blending, all of which the judges have commented on during her limited showing. She has earned two first place honours in her first three shows! We are expecting great mammary and milk potential in the future too, since her sire's dam, ARMCH/GCH Sugar Creek's SS Silhouette 6*D "E", was recognized in 2006 as ANDDA's first place Total Performer, as well as the AGS All Time Breed Leader for Production on One Day Testing. Rosemary is another sweet bottle baby who is always ready to demand--and return--love. Photo at Six Months.

Rosemary has a pedigree absolutely LOADED WITH MILK!!! Her sire's dam, ARMCH Sugar Creek's Silhouette 6*D "E", holds the AGS record for milk volume on One Day Testing: 6.8 pounds (2006 lactation, second freshening) and actually surpassed that amount in 2007 by milking 6.9 pounds as a third freshener. Silhouette has also done well with 305-Day DHIR, milking 1141 pounds as a second freshener in 2006. Rosemary's maternal lines likewise show excellence in milk production. Rosemary's maternal granddam, Piddlin Acres Pandora's Box 2*D AR "VG", scored in the 2004 AGS Top Ten for 305-Day Testing, with a #9 placing for milk volume, a #6 placing for butterfat, and a #5 placing for protein--milking 985 pounds in 296 days. We hope that Rosemary will realize the potential of her pedigree and also be a record-breaking milker when she freshens in the future.

2009 KIDDING PLANS: Rosemary will be bred for spring kids; service sire to be Rosasharn TL Curry*S, a sharp and upstanding buck. Genetically, this breeding also picks up Kingwood++*S on both sides, as well as adding the milk potential of the ARMCH Rosasharn's Uni 3*D "E" lines.

PIDDLIN ACRES W NEON AURORA--Polled

PIDDLIN ACRES W NEON AURORA--POLLED (Sugar Creek NT Sil's Winston*S*B x MCH Piddlin Acres Neon Moon*D)--DOB:3/07--Rory is a very dairy doe, chocolate and white with lighter splashes. She carries strong show and milk genetics on both sides of her pedigree and we are very happy to have her here. We have long admired the graceful aging of her dam, ten year old Neon Moon, whose sister, Twilight, is dam to QSF DTI Patience*D 1*M (AR), who has tied the AGS record for high One Day Testing volume at 6.8 pounds. And, the second doe in that tie is Aurora's paternal granddam, ARMCH/GCH Sugar Creek SS Silhouette 6*D (AR) "E"! Rory is another affectionate and good looking junior with a very promising future. Photo at Age 5.5 Months.

Being a paternal half-sister to Rosemary above, Rory is also blessed with those Sugar Creek milk genes and we hope that she lives up to that production potential! We really admire the dairiness and longetivity of Rory's dam line too; coming on eleven years of age, MCH Neon Moon*D "E" is still kidding and looking wonderful. We are pleased that Neon Moon has passed along her angularity, dairy character, and polled genetics to Rory, who is a beautiful junior, inside and out.

2009 BREEDING PLANS: Rory will be bred to TX Twincreeks CAS Patronus*S; we want to see his width in front and back carried through to these kids. We also hope that Patronus will pass on his dam's milk production potential. Genetically, this breeding is a cross of very strong Texas mammary lines. We have high hopes for beautiful kids with well-attached udders, much like the stunning does currently being sired on the West Coast by Patronus's maternal half-brother, Montego Bay.

DAWNLAND TABBY'S MORNING GLORY

DAWNLAND TABBY'S MORNING GLORY, known as "Diva", (Rosasharn Tom's Water Tabby*S x Sandy Hollow UK Sweetpea)--DOB: 4/07--pictured at four months. We just love this girl for her flamboyance and friendliness. Her personality makes her shine wherever she goes, including the show ring where--during her very first show--she earned a first in her class of over 20+ doelings (Judge Jeff Klein.) We hope for further successes in the ring, and eventually in the milk pail too, since Diva carries the very productive ARMCH Rosasharn's Uni genetics in her pedigree.

Morning Glory has never known her registered name, being called by and responding to "Diva Ding-Ding" since her birth. (Her unusual nickname was quickly chosen for her because it so closely echoes her ditzy personality!) Diva is a beautiful junior and is very typical of all of our Tabby daughters: long-bodied with lots of dairiness and refinement. She also has nice width to her, both in the brisket area and between the hocks. Her general appearance was one reason for Diva's repeat 2007 breeding; we loved her 2006 siblings but sold both.

Diva has a pedigree that is based on some of the best of Rosasharn, combining her sire Tabby's AGS National Champion lines--both his sire and dam were National Champs--with the award-winning production lines of ARMCH Rosasharn Uni 3*D "E". Both sides of Diva's maternal pedigree feature exceptional milkers and show animals, with her great-granddam, Uni, holding the top ND score for 305 Day Milk Testing in 2002, 2003, and 2004. Diva's maternal granddam, Goodwood KW Slinky 2*D AR, placed #8 for high score and #9 for high milk in the 2004 Top Ten One Day Test Awards and earned her AR as a five year old, milking 647 pounds in 180 days. Her top production was 6.2 pounds, at less than a month fresh, in 2004. And, Diva's maternal great-granddam, Goodwood Q Damselfly*D, is also going strong in her golden years (!), milking 4.6 pounds at eight years old to earn her star.

We think that Diva holds great promise for our herd and we look forward to her future kids. Until then, we'll just appreciate her sweet antics...

2009 BREEDING PLANS:
Diva will be bred to Fairlea Jamie Fraser, for a combination of strong Rosasharn-based genetics, with a loose linebreeding on Kingwood++*S as icing on the cake. We expect very refined and dairy kids from this pairing of beautiful, long-bodied parents...and lots of milk too, given the milk genetics on both sides!

"Fancy" received her call name in honour of her dam, the very pretty Fancy Free. She's not a fancy doe in real life, just a sweet smokey gold-grey girl who possesses many solid conformational strengths. Fancy shows a tight front end, a long body, and a very wide and flat topline with exceptional width across her thurls and in her escutcheon. She's also got the second loudest voice in the herd along with the spoiled nature to make it heard often! We consider Fancy to be another one of our anti-depressant goats and especially appreciate her unconditional affection: she's always one of the first to tug at clothes, chew a finger, or jump on a hunched human back.

Fancy has a very solid pedigree for milk and mammaries, linebred as she is on both MCH Weisbaden+*S and MCH Baywatch++*S. We are hoping that she freshens with both an udder worthy of her genetics and the milk production that will attain her future 4*D!

2009 BREEDING PLANS:
Fancy will be bred to Flat Rocks Gatorade for a three-way-combination of Twink's Pixie/Kingwood/Flat Rocks Surprise genetics. Gator is a beautiful, very sharp buck who complements Fancy in every way: he shows great strengths in feet/legs, angularity, and length of body, while Fancy is a long girl, with width across her thurls and between her hocks.

DAWNLAND SEA'S MAY DAY

DAWNLAND SEA'S MAY DAY (Twin Creeks BW Sudden Sea*S x Sandy Hollow HB Jellybean)--DOB: 5/07--May Day is the head goatkeeper's favorite 2007 doeling, both because of her looks and her gentle, quiet personality. She is a very long and level junior, leggy and elegant, with a refined neck and a beautiful head. (We even admire her long ears too!) May Day has done well with limited showing, placing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in huge junior classes during her first three shows and 4th in a huge competitive yearling class. She is always commended for her dairy character. Photo at Age 15 Months, Courtesy of Joanne Karohl.

5/01/07 (Singleton)

May Day is one of those rare doelings that pops out looking "perfect" and then gets better and better by the day. Having added some curves to balance her length of body, at eight months, May Day is a gorgeous girl: very dairy and refined. We love to eyeball her sleekness, especially now during the depths of our New England winter, when most of her peers are fluffballs!

In addition to top show genetics, May Day carries many high milking animals throughout her pedigree. She is loosely linebred on Twin Creeks Brave Heart+S genetics through both her sire and dam. On her paternal side, she is a daughter of one of our most consistent herdsires, Twin Creeks BW Sudden Sea*S, and she certainly looks the part with her elegant general appearance. Maternally, May Day's lines combine the top production and show genetics of ARMCH's Rosasharn's Uni 3*D 2*M "E" and Buckwheat Honey 3*D 3*M "E", with the refinement of MCH Goodwood Weisbaden+S "E" added to the mix. If May Day can match a future udder with her pedigree and excellent general appearance, she'll certainly shine as a first freshener!

2009 BREEDING PLANS:
May Day will be bred to Fairlea Jamie Fraser, for linebreedings on the Rosasharn genetics she carries in her pedigree as well as a loose linebreeding on Flat Rocks Surprise, through her sire's lines (Flat Rocks Flash) and Jamie's sire's lines (Flat Rocks Gem.)

DAWNLAND TABBY'S SILVER FOX

Sale Pending With Terms--Thanks Kerrin and Family!

DAWNLAND TABBY'S SILVER FOX (Rosasharn Tom's Water Tabby*S x Rosasharn Bella's Linda Lou)--DOB: 5/07--This girl was named after the sporty car that sped by the kids' bus stop every morning, bearing the license plate "SILVER FOX". Our Foxy is a beautiful and elegant junior showing a very nice combination of the strengths of both parents. She has a tight front end, length of body, and is overall very sharp and dairy. Foxy has great milk potential too! Her breeding is nearly identical to that which produced Rosasharn's UMT Bella Roo 3*D, (Tabby's full brother x Linda's twin sister), now at Silveraurora in Alaska. Bella Roo milked 6+ pounds as a high for One Day Testing in 2006! Photo at Age 3.5 Months.

It took us several years to repeat this breeding in 2007, after admiring the Tabby/Linda triplet boys born in 2004. Those boys were so comely that we couldn't wait to see if we'd finally luck out with a doe to keep...and Foxy is our lucky girl! Very much like her graceful dam, Foxy is a "dancing doe", with just the right combination of refinement and good looks that we have come to expect from our Tabby daughters. We also love Foxy's friendly temperament and her willingness to be cuddled and carried long beyond her babyhood.

We've waited a long time for our Foxy and we hope to see her follow true to the milk and udder potential of her Rosasharn pedigree.

2009 BREEDING PLANS:
Service sire is uncertain at present.

FLAT ROCKS VOODOO MAJYK--Polled

FLAT ROCKS VOODOO MAJYK (Flat Rocks Gem x HBF Cajun Voodoo "G+")--DOB: 5/07--Photo at Age 14 Months. (She has a beautiful head which has been distorted in the picture by her chewing of treats.)
OK, not the most professional positioning, but our human kids are indispensable helpers with our photo shoots. Majyk is a stunning doe, angular and refined, with a very wide escutcheon, and long teats. Her older full sisters have all freshened with beautifully shaped and attached udders, so we are hoping for the same with Majyk.

DAWNLAND FAL TSARINA

DAWNLAND FAL TSARINA (Fairlea Arsene Lupin*S x Piddlin Acres Princess)--DOB: 5/07--Tsarina is our powerhouse doe, petite but solid! We are pleased with her length and width, as well as her smoothness of blending. We also like her "Kingwood Red" and white colouring. Tsarina carries generations of exceptional mammary genetics throughout her star-studded pedigree and we are hopeful that she will likewise shine. Photo at Age Fifteen Months.

Solid as the New Hampshire granite that she stands upon, Tsarina is one doeling that will never blow away in the breeze. She is a wide and powerful girl, strongly resembling the older Goodwood/Stonewall genetics that underline her pedigree. In appearance, she also borrows length of body, levelness of topline, and straight-on front legs from her dam, Piddlin Acres V Princess. Genetically, Tsarina is an interesting mix of top quality animals: she is linebred on both Twink's Pixie and Kingwood++*S. Her paternal side includes three generations of ARMCH does as well as two-time AGS National Grand Champion Senior Doe, Twin Creeks BH Mariri's Zinnia 4*D "E". And maternally, Tsarina's relatives are just as notable, with her dam being a full sister to dual-championed MCH/CH Tessa's Boots at Piddlin Acres in Texas.

Given both the quality of the animals behind her as well as her conformational strengths, it's not hard to predict that Tsarina will be one to watch in the future!

2009 KIDDING PLANS: Rina will be bred to Rosasharn TL Curry*S for a cross of potent Rosasharn milk/udder genetics. His refinement should match well with her solid build too!

LOST VALLEY CR AJA

LOST VALLEY CR AJA (Lost Valley LB Creed*S x Lost Valley KW Morgan 4*D)--DOB: 8/07--Aja is our long-awaited doeling out of Morgan, who came to us as a bred doe after the AGS Nationals. For two months, we stepped on eggshells and catered to Morgan's every need until she finally rewarded us with buck/doe twins. Aja has fulfilled our expectations early; she is long, refined, stands on good legs, and has a wide arching escutcheon. (If she looks this good now, we can't wait to see her in a few months!) Aja has a pedigree that matches her good looks, being linebred on Hill Country's Shatarr 2*D, and carrying the additional genetics of Piddlin Acres Cajun Music+*S and Lost Pines Prince+*S. Photo at One Week.
Aja at Eleven Months. She's a very sharp junior with a tight front end, correct legs and feet, and a pretty head (hard to see in the feed scoop!) Her littermate brother has already won his JrCH Buck award and Aja is just as comely!

Even if Aja wasn't lovable and pretty, she'd probably still be a favorite since she's our last 2007 baby! She's resembling both her dam and granddam, Treasure, as she grows, with lots of width and body capacity. Aja shows conformational strengths in her feet/legs, topline, and arching escutcheon. Her pedigree holds promise for both milk and show, with a linebreeding on Lost Valley's matriarch, high-milking Hill Country's Shatarr 2*D. Aja also carries some nice Twin Creeks genetics on both sides of her pedigree: MCH Bay Watch++*S "E", through his sons, Cajun Music+*S and Perfect Storm+*S. And finally, she's a paternal great-granddaughter of Lost Pines Prince+*S, who has produced several MCH daughters for Lost Valley.

We are very proud of Aja's potential and we are enjoying watching her grow up!

2009 BREEDING PLANS: Aja will be bred to Dawnland Tabby's Halifax "E", for a linebreeding on Kingwood++*S genetics. Halifax has many daughters on the ground now and they are showing real quality in their conformation: long bodies, flat ribbing, dairy character. Aja has matured into a very refined and sharp girl (we need a new photo soon!) and her combo of looks and milk potential should mesh well with what Halifax is passing on. We plan to retain a doe kid, and maybe a buck, from this breeding.
