| Anna at Six Weeks Fresh. Unfortunately, because of an erratic milking schedule, we managed to significantly decrease her capacity/production. We are hoping for better luck with a second freshening. What the photo does show is her exceptional width, spring of ribs, and sound general conformation. Photo Courtesy of Joanne Karohl. |

KIDDING HISTORY 2008--Triplets+: 1Doe/2 Bucks (Fairlea Arsene Lupin*S)
Anna is a beautiful junior, which is why we named her after our very special "Oma". We consider her to be our best 2005 "homebred" doe. Anna shows all the positive conformation features of her correct Stonewall dam, including strong legs and feet, a tight front end, a beautiful escutcheon with nicely placed teats, and width--front and back. She has flat boning with a dairy wedge-shaped body. Her "sloe eyes" give her a somewhat dopey look, but Anna actually has a very pretty head too! We especially appreciate Anna's Type B Personality. She is our only doe to tolerate clipping without food enticement and she is just as sweet as the day is long. We are pleased with Anna's udder; it is high and wide in the rear, with nice laterals, a smooth fore, and plumb teats. We expect that Anna's age at first freshening--three--will put her at a show ring disadvantage in terms of udder capacity.
2009 BREEDING PLANS: Anna will be bred to TX Twincreeks CAS Patronus*S for a loose linebreeding on JJU genetics. Pat is also a very small and refined buck and we think he will mesh well with Anna's width and body capacity. We are hoping for lots of milk too, as Patronus's dam, MCH/GCH Gay Mor's JJU Nonpareil 3*D *M "E", is not only a dual finished champion but holds one of the top scores for AGS One Day Tests.

TX TWINCREEKS BUTTERFLY DANCE
|
 |
| TX TWINCREEKS BUTTERFLY DANCE (MCH Pecan Hollow Willy's Dance Fever*S x MCH/CH Twin Creeks WB Madame Butterfly "VG")--DOB: 4/06--This spoiled little girl is just as beautiful as her dam, a doe that we have long admired from afar. Being so spoiled, Butterfly absolutely refused to stand nicely for her yearling photo, hence the "stretch"! In addition to her personality, we love Butterfly's dairy qualities--see her fine boning and the loose folds of skin--and escutcheon width. |

KIDDING HISTORY 2008--Twin Does (Rosasharn TL Curry*S)
We love this doe! The pedigree borne by Butterfly Dance--with her dual-championed dam, Madame Butterfly, being the last daughter of the famed Twink's Pixie-- is impressive, and we consider ourselves very blessed to have had the opportunity to purchase her. Other than her strident voice and spoiled, affectionate nature, what is most pronounced about our Butterfly is her dairy character. She is a long-boned doe showing length of body, width front and back, long well-placed teats, and tons of loose, fine skin. And, when she's not screaming demands, Butterfly also carries herself with an elegant bearing worthy of her genetics. We are very pleased with Butterfly's first freshening--lovely twin girls and a very capacious udder, widely attached all over, high in the rear, smooth in the fore, with good-sized, easily-milked plumb teats.
2009 BREEDING PLANS: Butterfly will be bred to Dawnland Tabby's Halifax "E" for a linebreeding on both Kingwood++*S and the cross of AGS National Champions ARMCHs Goodwood Tom Thumb+*S "E" and Water Lilly 2*D "VG". We plan to retain both a doe and maybe a buck from this breeding.

| LOST VALLEY TB SALEEN (MCH Lost Valley Tae-Bo+*S "E" x Goodwood Sisley*D "VG")--DOB: 1/07--is another promising junior. KIDDING HISTORY 2008--Twin Bucklings (NC PromisedLand SS Dark Arts*S)
Saleen, a New Year's baby, is certainly a portent of good things to come! A beautiful girl, who has done well showing--easily earning her junior leg in very stiff competition during the 2007 New England summer show season, Saleen has a pedigree that also promises future success as a freshened doe. She shares maternal sisterhood with three gorgeous girls: MCH Lost Valley Callisto 2*D "E", MCH Lost Valley Haley 2*D "E", and MCH Lost Valley Lacey 2*D (7x GCH, 6x BU, 2x BOB.) Additionally, her sire, Tae-Bo+*S, now has a finished ARMCH daughter as well as several other freshened daughters with lovely mammaries. At age seventeen months first freshening, Saleen showed a modest globular udder, easily milked, with plumb teats. We are hoping to see both increased capacity and teat size her second time around.
2009 KIDDING PLANS: Service sire to be Twin Creeks BW Sudden Sea*S; we are hoping that he will pass on his usual: large milkable teats, a soft capacious udder, and excellent udder floor division. We'd also like to see him pass on his length of body and very tight front end.
